Welcome Inn provides a number of diverse programs and services for children, families and seniors throughout the year. These activities strive to build community resilience through education and relationship.

Seniors Support Program
On Tuesdays, seniors enjoy a home-cooked meal with educational and entertaining programs afterward. In addition, some more isolated seniors receive a weekly visit or phone call from a caring volunteer. Often seniors are heard commenting, “Welcome Inn is my family.”

Learning and Fun After School Program (LAF)
Children in grades 1-8 are matched one-on-one with a volunteer for both learning and fun. Activities both teach and inspire. One student in grade 2 said, “I love books, I love Welcome Inn!”

Emergency Food Pantry
People marginalized by poverty and hunger can receive a 3-day supply of food and personal hygiene items. Over 8,000 people use this service every year.

PLAN Program
A program to build assets and create resilient families in Hamilton. savingsPLAN, bizPLAN and financialPLAN are free weekly workshops facilitated by volunteers to provide personal financial management and small business development training to low- to moderate-income Hamiltonians.

New Horizons Thrift Store
The store provides people with the opportunity to purchase and/or donate good quality used clothing and household items.  With an ever-changing stock, New Horizons is sure to have something to fit every budget.  New Horizons provides an opportunity for people to give back to the community by volunteering to operate the store.  Many volunteers are not employable in traditional employment, are retired, or are gaining work experience for employment in the retails sector.

Summer Day Camp
Join us for an exciting summer of day camp with skill-based programming. Our mornings will be focused on building our skills in areas like cooking and art, while our afternoons will be reserved for traditional camp games, crafts, activities, and of course, swimming! Open to children ages 5-11.
